My name is Fiona, originally from Henan Province, about 800km away from Beijing and home to the world famous Chinese Kungfu.
I had my heart set on being a tour guide from a young age and followed my dream to Beijing in 2009, after graduating from college in Guangzhou.
I am a fan of Chinese history and particularly Beijing's rich culture, and I love to share it with my guests in a fun way, as an insider, which I assume is the best way that travelers get to learn about China.
I love having fun with those who join my tours and, in particular, enjoy showing the sublime beauty of the Summer Palace.
In my spare time I love going to museums, practicing calligraphy, or cycling in the old town at night, which always makes me feel relaxed and happy. I also love watching American TV shows. You might be surprised to hear that I learned almost all of my flawless English by watching tv and movies!

❝ our guide, Fiona, was fun, knowledgeable and excited to show off her beautiful country to us. She was absolutely perfect in every sense as a guide and a travel companion. She showed us things that we would have missed, talked with us about Chinese history, current events, and what it was like being a Chinese woman in today's China. She was a huge part in our day being seamlessly smooth and one of the best days of our 20 in China this last April. ❞
❝ Our guide Fiona was the best guide we ever had. Fun, perfect english, lots of anecdotes. We had a lunch at haidilao with her (hot pot restaurant), lot of fun and new experience. Highly recommanded. ❞

The highlight of our Beijing experience was definitely having our stellar English-speaking tour guide, Fiona, passionately show us why Beijing is not-to-be-missed. Her love for the city’s history and culture is palpable and contagious. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable, but she is also warm, funny, charming, and attentive to her clients. We were able to expertly fit in so many highlights on our two short days in Beijing - including the Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Jin Shan Park, the Temple Heaven on Day 1 and The Great Wall & Olympic Stadium on Day 2 - because she had the inside track on all-things-Beijing due to her 10+ years of experience as a tour guide. She was part-historian, part-translator and part-photographer during our whirlwind two days of tours. Both days we were treated to a delicious lunch at local restaurants where we were the only tourists there. Both of these authentic culinary experiences made us feel like we were Beijing locals for a bit! We were able to accomplish so much - yet we never felt rushed or hurried.
Beijing can be a bit overwhelming for Western visitors. But, not with Fiona! She really set us at ease and made us fall in love with this city. We will surely be back for another visit. Having a guide like Fiona made our Beijing experience so special and unforgettable, and we are so grateful she was able to share her passion for this city with us.
